Our 15-year warranty is one of the strongest in the industry, and we want you to understand exactly what it means — not because we expect you to need it, but because clarity upfront is how trust gets built.
What is covered
The warranty covers the following failure modes for 15 years from the date of installation:
- Peeling and delamination — if the coating separates from the slab under normal use
- Bubbling — if moisture or off-gassing causes the coating to lift
- Hot-tire pickup — if the topcoat is damaged by normal residential tire traffic
- Significant fading or yellowing — our topcoats are UV-stable; color shift beyond normal aging is covered
What is not covered
No floor coating warranty covers physical damage — dropped tools, forklift damage, dragged equipment, or chemical spills beyond what the topcoat is rated for. It also doesn't cover damage from structural slab movement (cracks that open up after install due to ground settling).
If a slab crack was present at the time of install and we noted it on your paperwork, any future movement at that crack is not covered. We always document pre-existing conditions before we grind.
How a claim works
Send us a photo and your install paperwork to hello@nexuscoatings.com. We'll schedule a site visit within 5 business days. If the failure is covered, we'll repair or recoat the affected area at no charge. Most claims we've ever processed were resolved in a single visit.
In seven-plus years of operation, we've had fewer than a handful of warranty claims — and every one of them was resolved.
